Hi, I’m Marjorie. Born and raised in Colorado, where I grew a love for the outdoors. After college, my husband and I moved to Utah, where we spend our free time snowboarding, hiking, camping, kayaking, rock climbing, and exploring the great outdoors at any opportunity. I joined Redonk in February of 2022 as a project manager. As a project manager, I ensure our team understands/meets client briefs, projects run smoothly, and we stay on schedule. I love organization and figuring out how everything fits together, so getting to be a part of that process during projects is a fun and unique challenge.
Here’s a little bit more about me:
Favorite beer or wine? I don’t drink, but I love a good cup of coffee from small local coffee shops, specifically an iced vanilla latte.
Favorite vacation spot? I love visiting National Parks and living in Utah, I’m only a short distance away from some of the best the country has to offer.
Best TV show of all time? That’s a tough one! I’d probably have to go with either The Office or Parks and Recreation, followed closely by Avatar: The Last Airbender.
Favorite movie? It’s too hard to pick one, so here are some of my favorites by genre.
“Chick flick” – Live-Action Cinderella
Sport – Remember the Titans, and Miracle
Fantasy – Lord of the Rings Trilogy, and Harry Potter
I need a restaurant recommendation, where should I go? I’m not a restaurant coinsure, but I like Squatters located in Salt Lake City (specifically their steak tip nachos). However, if you need a recommendation on dessert (especially ice cream), I’ve got you covered (Blacksmith Ice Cream Co. is currently my favorite)
You’ve committed a serious crime like putting dirty dishes in the sink and are sentenced to death. What would your last meal be? Honestly, I’d get a Chick-Fil-A sandwich meal followed by a scoop of mocha cold brew from my favorite ice cream shop in Utah, Blacksmiths. I know that doesn’t seem too exciting but it sure is delicious.
If you could have dinner with 3 people, living or dead, who would you dine with? Easy! I’d eat with some of my favorite athletes Michael Phelps, Peyton Manning, and Todd Helton. My runners-up would be Shaun White, Joe Sakic, and Shawn Johnson.
How do you drink your coffee? I’m not too picky, but if I had to choose, it would be some form of an iced latte.
If you could do one thing other than work for Redonk, what would it be? Just one?! I’d say it’s a tie between the following three things.
Working in the nonprofit space helping teens through mentorship and counseling Olympic broadcaster (think Bob Costas or Mary Carillo)
Travel journalist hiking, snowboarding, and exploring my way around the world
Favorite concert you’ve been to? Growing up in Colorado, I was lucky to attend concerts at the world-famous Red Rocks Amphitheater, and my favorite concert was The Piano Guys. I also loved Brad Paisley’s show at Ball Arena.
