It\u2019s been famously said, \u201cThe world needs more Canada.\u201d So, as a native Canadian, I like to think I\u2019m doing my part by sharing my culture down south. And obviously, after 23 years in the US \u2013 from Boston to Dallas to Seattle and back to Dallas again \u2013 I\u2019ve fallen in love with my adopted country and made it my mission to see as many states as possible (39 states and counting). In fact, just the other weekend, I checked off Indiana and Ohio, which are both stunningly beautiful in the fall and have some of the friendliest people I\u2019ve ever met.<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s a little bit more about me:<\/p>\n

Favorite beer or wine?<\/strong> I\u2019m not really into drinking much anymore, but once in a while I love having La Fin du Monde<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Favorite vacation spot?<\/strong> I love to travel and could do it 24\/7, 365 days a year. My favorite destination is almost anywhere that requires an airplane.<\/p>\n

Best TV show of all time? <\/strong>When I\u2019m not traveling, I love to spend my time outside \u2013 preferably skiing or hiking in the mountains. But if you force me to watch TV, I\u2019m always up for The Amazing Race. I think I\u2019ve been a die-hard fan of the show for 20 years, and I haven\u2019t missed a season.<\/p>\n

Favorite movie?<\/strong> The Secret Life of Walter Mitty.<\/p>\n

I need a restaurant recommendation, where should I go?<\/strong> I\u2019m most likely not the person to ask\u2026but I\u2019m always up for healthy organic food.<\/p>\n

You\u2019ve committed a serious crime like putting dirty dishes in the sink and are sentenced to death. What would your last meal be?<\/strong> I\u2019m a huge fan of Greek salad. Although I\u2019d probably make one at home, the best one I\u2019ve ever had was at Seasons of Bowness Park <\/em>in Calgary, Alberta.<\/p>\n

If you could have dinner with 3 people, living or dead, who would you dine with?<\/strong> I\u2019d love to dine with my favorite artists – Pablo Picasso, Andy Warhol, and Frida Kahlo.<\/p>\n

How do you drink your coffee? <\/strong>Double Espresso, preferably with Lavazza gold selection whole beans.<\/p>\n

If you could do one thing other than work for Redonk, what would it be? <\/strong>Own a kitchie 1970\u2019s themed ski resort in Montana (and obviously spend a lot of time skiing).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
